You can benefit from my sessions for FREE as part of the
Glastonbury Community Exchange, if you live locally!

How does this work?

IN a nutshell, I am administrating our local community exchange scheme, and I wish to build this up: my requirement for your free session is simply that you participate in this! - I will only ask you £15 (at the door) for covering my real-life costs: Room rental and petrol money... some things still do need money.

This is free - no membership - and is a very exciting project.

Please read on and explore - Once you join in, register at "Glastonbury Community Exchange" and find me to request a session! You NEED to live locally, so that I may benefit from what you have / friends have to offer! That's how I will ultimately get 'paid' for my service.

The Community Exchange System (CES) is a web service that provides the tools for communities to set up and manage exchange and trade in their areas without using money. It also provides communities with a network that permits them to trade with other communities, wherever they are in the world.

The main object of the CES is to facilitate trade and exchange by providing a range of non-monetary exchange tools. This helps to build community by connecting people and providing a local support network.

By ‘trade’ we mean the normal activities of providing goods and services by ‘givers’, ‘producers’, ‘sellers’ or ‘providers’, and the receiving of these by ‘buyers’, ‘customers’, ‘clients’, ‘patients’, ‘consumers’, ‘receivers’, etc.

The CES serves two basic functions:

  1. it is an online platform that facilitates exchange in a number of different ways

  2. it is an online ‘marketplace’ where users can advertise their skills, offerings and requirements
